Training Program

AXS-One training courses provide partners, resellers and customers orientation to the AXS-One Records Compliance Management (RCM) platform. The RCM suite of products provides an integrated solution to securely capture, archive, manage, search, supervise, integrate, share, and audit all electronic records, regardless of originating platform. The courses include both lecture and virtual machine laboratory exercises emphasizing Lotus Notes/Domino e-mail, Microsoft Exchange e-mail, Sun Java Messaging Server/Sun One e-mail, instant messaging, reports, desktop document and file-system archiving. AXS-One instructional staff and consultants have Ph.D.s, MBAs, JDs in addition to practical hands-on experience supporting large enterprise records compliance management implementations. RCM course offerings are unique in the industry because the content is seasoned by a 30 year company commitment supporting e-discovery within electronic archives.

Duration:
Two day sales training, three day release training and five day implementation training classes are reinforced with onsite and remote mentoring. Customer and advanced topic courses vary in duration.

Audience:
The two day sales course provides an overview of product architecture for anyone participating in the AXS-One RCM or C2MS solution sales process. The three day course is an advanced topics course to provide knowledge transfer to RCM sales engineers and resellers already familiar with AXS-One solutions. The five day training is mainly for individuals responsible for installing and implementing AXS-One's Records Compliance Management solutions. The implementation course is cancelled if enrolment falls below 7. All courses are open to AXS-One staff, AXS-One authorized resellers and partners. Administrator and customer end-user training are tailored offerings.

Prerequisites:
Virtual machine and laboratory environments are conducted on the Windows platform. Pre-sales or systems administration experience is required for implementers. Prior to most courses, 3-7 hours of online study is required. Trainees must arrive with questions in alignment with course objectives.

Objectives:
At the conclusion of each course, the trainee will be able to:

  • Describe the technical architecture of the AXS-One solution to a prospect or end-user.
  • Identify the key components of the AXS-One solution and describe the relationship between the components.
  • Have knowledge of existing features/functions and anticipated support roadmap.
  • Describe the process flow for archiving electronic records such as E-mail, IM, file systems, desktop documents.
  • Install the solution or provide a demonstration with assistance from a "mentor."
  • Perform basic configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks.
